Randerson welcomes English Co-Payments announcement

Welsh Lib Dem Spokesperson for Health Jenny Randerson AM has welcomed the announcement that English patients should be allowed to co-pay for drugs and treatment.

Jenny Randerson said: "This is great news for English patients. The Minister has finally accepted that his party's "in or out" line is fundamentally immoral and wrong.

"It is a step in the right direction for Wales. The argument has been won in England, now we have to win the argument in Wales. Today's decision for England make that argument a little easier to win here."
